Vintage Wings of Canada will be hosting 450 Tactical Helicopter Squadron (THS) based out of Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Petawawa. 450 THS is the Royal Canadian Air Force’s only CH-147F Chinook Squadron, and is part of 1 Wing, the home of Canada’s tactical aviation capability.
This one-day seminar will showcase a static CH-147F Model Chinook along with a guest panel of current Chinook pilots, technicians and crew members along with former RCAF pilots who will share their many valuable experiences including:
- CH-147 Operational History of Service & Afghanistan
- Reincarnation of “Nose Art” in Afghanistan Theatre
- Pilot & Technician Discussion (Q&A)
- Tactile “walk-around” & Chinook familiarization with Crew Members
- Recent 450 THS Operations
